Requires geolocated proof that commodities weren't sourced from recently deforested land. Compliance deadline: 30 December 2026.
Requires companies to identify and address human rights and environmental impacts in their supply chains.
Requires a digital product passport for batteries sold in the EU, including supply chain and sustainability data.
S1 covers general sustainability disclosure (voluntary). S2 mandates climate-related disclosures for certain entities from January 2025. The first reporting period is now active.
Assumes goods from Xinjiang are produced with forced labour unless proven otherwise.
